Here is a "Famous Makers Odd Lots" brand hand knitting yarn. It is a pull skein 100% Acrylic and it says the net weight was 3 ounces. It still weights 3 ounces so we don't believe any has ever been used.
The yarn is clean with no stains. The packaging does show some stains but, don't affect the yarn in any way.
