Presented is a vintage "Lillian Vernon" brand Manicure Machine, model LV 9237, which requires four AA batteries. Upon testing, it functions properly. Included is a small box of accessories, depicted in one of the photos. The machine appears to be lightly used, if at all, as evidenced by the pristine battery compartment free of corrosion. Notable is some yellowing, visible in the photos. Accompanying the machine is a compact instruction booklet; although some pages were initially adhered due to moisture exposure, they have since been carefully separated, with varying degrees of wear. Photographs of most pages are available.
An extensive search for another such item yielded no results, suggesting its rarity.
