Twist cord wire red use for Arts & Crafts 12 feet plus

Here I have some twist metal wire. I even used my magnet to it, and it holds lightly so some metal in it. I am honestly not sure of exactly what this is, but felt it could be used in a arts and crafts project. I looked at the end, It has 5 strands that run together. It has a original retail tag on it that says this was $9 originally. I measured 1 way, and believe this is at least 12 feet long.
