Arachnophobia is the 1990 horror‑comedy directed by Frank Marshall, starring Jeff Daniels, John Goodman, and Harley Jane Kozak. When a deadly Venezuelan spider is accidentally transported to a small California town, it breeds with local species, unleashing a swarm of lethal arachnids.
