Synopsis
Set in an unnamed dystopian nation, the film follows Joe (Ralph Fiennes), an idealistic soldier who befriends Thorne (Donald Sutherland), a political prisoner. Thorne recruits Joe into a violent coup, overthrowing the corrupt government. However, as the post-revolutionary world unfolds, Joe realizes that power and ideology can be just as dangerous as the tyranny they replaced.
