The peace of his seclusion is shattered when Felix discovers that the head of his secret order of wizards, the titular Magus (played by Ron Fitzgerald), has abandoned the ancient "Wizard's Code". The Magus is using his immense mystical powers for evil, embarking on a killing spree alongside his sidekick, Sen, with plans to eliminate other secret wizard chiefs and rule with wicked intent. Forced into action, Felix must find a way to transform his life-giving healing energy into a lethal force to stop the villain. He finds an unexpected ally in his teenage niece, Claudia (played by Lizzy Strain), a dedicated judo student training for her black belt. Together, the duo forms an "improbable" team: Claudia helps train her uncle for physical combat, while Felix introduces her to his secret world of magic as they prepare for a final battle between good and evil.
