Here is "The Yearling" movie on VHS. The movie has been recently tested, and works great. It comes in the original clamshell case with artwork. The clamshell case has considerable cracking, and wear as shown in the photos. It could use a new case, but it does not affact the tape in any way.
The Yearling VHS, released by MGM/UA Home Video, is a classic family drama based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. The story follows Jody Baxter, an 11-year-old boy growing up in the Florida backwoods with his family after the Civil War. When Jody adopts an orphaned fawn, he forms a deep bond with the animal, but as the fawn grows, it becomes destructive to the family's small garden, leading to difficult choices.
The film stars Gregory Peck as Penny Baxter and Jane Wyman as Ma Baxter, with Claude Jarman Jr. as Jody. It's a touching tale of love, loss, and coming of age, beautifully shot on location in the Florida Everglades.
