Here is a very old book titled "Heath's Common School Music Readers" by W.F. Heath. It says this is the first book. The book has a copyright date of 1879. This book has definately seen much better days. It has several creases, browning pahes, tears, stains, and a missing back cover also. The last page to the book is 156, and we don't honestly know if there was originally more or not. We thought someone may enjoy thumbing through this old music book.
