Bull Brass animal figure made in Japan unique

Here we have a bull figure that is marked "made in Japan" on the bottom. We used a magnet, and it did not stick so we believe this is made of brass. We where thinking it could hold something small like jewelry, erasers on a desk, or a multitude of different things. The length of it is 4 inches, and it stands 2 1/2 inches tall. It does have a small hole behind the one horn which we believe is the ear broken. It is unusual, and we feel it would add a neat addition on a desk, or mantle.
