Rockaway is the story of Trane (Nicholas Gonzalez), a decorated war hero just shipped back to the States after the brutal murder of his wife and child back home in Rockaway, Queens. Upon his return, Trane encounters his old friend Dave (Ricardo Chavira) who describes the new forces of crime and prostitution that have moved into the neighborhood and caused the destruction of his family. Replacing mourning with revenge, Trane vows to take down the network of low-lifes and mobsters involved in the murder of his family. While on the search for answers, Trane goes head-to-head with neighborhood gangster Julio (Mario Cimarro) and his entourage of pimps and thugs led by the volatile Antoine (Manny Perez). Trane discovers his own sister Carrie (Delilah Cotta) is deeply entangled in the web of a Russian mob gang led by the shrewd and vicious Ivan (Oleg Taktarov). In order to carry out his revenge, Trane must walk the precarious path of crime and deception as he works his way blow by blow up the criminal food chain.
