White Ceramic Duck candle holder or Planter Unique

Here we have a ceramic duck. We are not sure if this is a candle holder, or planter. Unfortunately it has seen better days, most of the paint is worn off. We know some people are very good at art, and we thought someone may enjoy repainting it, and decorating it. Around the rim in the back we did notice a small nick. The opening is 1 1/2 inches in diameter.  It stands 5 1/2 inches tall. The base of it is 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches. We don't know how it happened but, right behind the head it has a lot of red speckles, and a few other places also has some red specks as shown in the pictures.  It is still useful, and thought someone who loves ducks would like this.
